No.  If you want to close your CD account during the 7-day grace period after maturity, you can contact our Customer Care Department at 1-800-844-7333.  We will be happy to walk you through the information needed to complete this transaction.


During the CD grace period, you can roll your CD into another CD term or add/withdraw funds from/to a Third Federal checking or savings account. Log into your online banking and go to the ""Additonal Services"" Tab and choose ""CD Maintenance"". Locate the CD you are interested in renewing or and click on ""Renew"". Select the new product of your choice and if you would like to add or withdraw additional funds. Click on Continue and then confirm your choice.  


You can also enter the CD Maintenance page through our Mobile App by selecting the ""More"" option after logging into the app and then select ""CD Maintenance"".
