A security cookie is a piece of information that gets stored on your computer. Like many other institutions, Third Federal uses a Adobe's Flash cookies to identify a particular computer. When enhanced security is added, the cookie is set on your computer.
Every time you log into Third Federal's Online Banking system, we look for the cookie to confirm that it is the right computer. It is necessary for you to keep the Third Federal cookie, in order for your computer to be enrolled in the Enhanced Security feature. If you have software attached to your computer that deletes cookies, you will need to contact the provider for information on how to keep our cookie.

Adobe provides an online-only control panel where you can view or delete all of the Flash cookies on your computer. It is found at http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.htm.
The flash cookie alone doesn't permit a login. It must be used in conjunction with your User ID and Password. If you decline the Flash cookie, you will be prompted to enter in a One-Time Access Code that is sent to you immediately after you attempt to login.
